The
restaurant Cantina Canaletto, just
a short walk from Piazza San Marco,
was named after the adjoining residence
of the famous painter Antonio Canal,
well known as Canaletto, and is the
forerunner of a new trend of catering.
Since its opening the restaurant has
been standing out for the careful
selection of the products utilized
in cookery, by choosing meats strictly
certified to guarantee high quality,
while fish and crustaceans are delivered
daily from the best fishmarkets of
Veneto so that our window feignes
the drippling net of a fishing boat
just come back from sea with shrimps,
lobsters, seabasses, turbots, shellfish
and more.
The extraordinary passion of Gabriele,
Silvio and Bepi with the great experience
of Chef Renato, warrant both high
fidelity in traditional recipes and
wonderful creativity to combine with
care and wisdom the flavours of earth
and sea in dishes celebrating the
Venetian cuisine world wide.
