Actv begins a new connection for lovers of bicycles and nature with a specially equipped waterbus service. Starting from San Giuliano, the Venice Lido and Punta Sabbioni, this connection allows you to reach the island of Sant' Erasmo where most of the fruits and vegetables displayed in the Rialto market are grown. Riding around San'Erasmo by bicycle throughout the beauty of its gardens and lush nature makes for a different and unforgettable day out with friends and family.

Since the waterbus can take only 60 persons with bikes, for those of you keen on trying out this experience, please book (and pay for) your tickets in advance. Booking and buying is possible from the following Vela ticket offices and gencies: At the "Le Barche" shopping centre in Mestre, and in the towns of Mirano and Dolo; in Venice, at Piazzale Roma, Santa Maria Elisabetta (Lido), and Punta Sabbioni.

The overall price of the return ticket for passenger and bicycle is euro 9.30.
This includes the fare for taking one child per bicycle on the children's seat. The outward and return journeys must be completed on the day and route your booking was made for. Reductions are available for families and also for organized groups of more than 10 persons.

The routes are: San Giuliano, Sant'Erasmo Capannone, Lido San Nicolò, and return; Punta Sabbioni, Lido San Nicolò, Sant'Erasmo Capannone and return.

With the same ticket you can return from Lido to Tronchetto with the ferry-boat services of 17:10 and 18:15, only for bicycles and motorbikes.

The service runs on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. No refunds can be given to those who decide not to use the service.

If extra spaces are available upon departure, you may pay on board without pre-booking and buying.
