The
restaurant has been created from a
former fishermen's lodge typically
found in the Venetian lagoon. The
original fireplaces have been preserved
where once one would warm oneself
around an open fire. The restaurant
itself opened in 1980. |

The
entrance: There are
two entrances to the premises.
One leads into the dining areas
and the welcoming rustic bar
and another leading directly
to the outside park, gardens
and patio. |

The
cuisine seeks to maintain all that
is genuine making use of the vegetables
of the estuary area and fresh locally
caught fish. Pasta, sweets and puddings
are strictly home-made all serving
to maintain the character of the establishment.
One can also take time to relax in
the atmosphere created by the lush
green of the artichokes in the kitchen
garden. Within the extensive gardens
there is a fine gazebo and the most
romantic patio area ideal for wedding
receptions and other festive occasions. |
The
patio: Suitable for
wedding receptions, group meetings
and buffet patties for up to
180 guests. Can be closed and
heated during the winter. |
